Interesting clip that compiles video and stills to capture a flavour of Singapore.
Apparently the oldest rainforest in the world. This is a longish (20 minute) documentary-style clip which is really interesting. Nice work from a bunch of friends from India, Singapore and Switzerland.
We're off to San Francisco later this week! The weather is not looking that great, cloudy and rainy periods but hopefully we'll have some clear days ahead.
We found a good deal at the Hotel Nikko, which is near the world-famous steep, switchbacking Lombard street; it's within walking distance of China Town as well.
The plans are to enjoy the great vegetarian, vegan and live food restaurants the city has to offer, hopefully get to the Monteray Aquarium, and for me to play a round of golf at Pebble Beach on Monday - thanks for the treat, Stephen! And of course, visit Golden Gate Bridge and Golden Gate Park!
Yes, I made it! Qatar Airways made it! I'm finally home in Kuala Lumpur. Thong Mei managed to squeeze Qatar Airways by the balls (actually, the person in charge) and we all flew home on Business Class.
I haven't managed to update this blog for the duration of my Trans-Mongolia journey but I'll try to do it bit by bit from now onwards but that would mean that the timeline would have gone a bit wonky. Bear with me!
